Exhibitions and shows can be a double-edged sword. When you are on your booth at Mobile World Congress, next to the CEO, it is certainly the best experience of your life (ever!) and you are having a great time, honest. When you talk to your partner back in the hotel, you spend 20 minutes describing your lower back pain and lack of feeling in your right foot.
However, this year heralded a different strategy from marketing regarding Mobile World Congress, and it meant the show was, in my opinion, the biggest success of all the shows I've worked on in the last 6 years. And my legs were still working afterwards.
The secret formula was to move away from achingly detailed demonstrations and heavy powerpoint that discussed this or that feature; it highlighted our brand strength, business value and our strong customer base. We pitched it at the right level, got more leads than ever and ultimately succeeded in building business. Here's me talking with RCR Wireless' Sean Kinney, about TEMS iBuildNet, at the show.
With this experience under our belt this year, and many more shows to come, I'm particularly happy to announce that we will be exhibiting at Small Cells World Summit in London. This is a new show for us, as we come into a new market of in-building design with our product TEMS iBuildNet.
We're excited about the speakers present and what we can learn from them, and also to have the opportunity to meet with potential customers and partners alike. TEMS Portfolio has over 600 customers around the world, is a respected brand, and we want to make a splash in this exciting and growing market.
If you want to find out more about in-building design with TEMS iBuildNet or our other products and services, stop by at booth 35 and we'll be happy to entertain you. And we'll give you a seat.
