Industry Bodies

3GPP

Specification group SA5 (Telecom Management) specifies the architecture, requirements and solutions for provisioning and managing a network and its associated services. InfoVista also attends and monitors Radio Layer groups 1 – 4 for 3GPP. These groups focus on all aspects of radio interfaces, including specifications on measurements, protocols, architectures, synchronizations, and simulations.

ITU


ITU is the specialized agency for the United Nations for information and communication technologies. Assembling the world’s leading experts in the field, the ITU-T Study Group 12 develops the international standards for information and communication technologies, specifically in regards to performance, quality of service (QoS), and quality of experience (QoE).

LoRa Alliance

The LoRa Alliance is an open, non-profit association of members that believes the internet of things era is now. It was initiated by industry leaders with a mission to standardize Low Power Wide Area Networks (LPWAN) being deployed around the world to enable Internet of Things (IoT), machine-to-machine (M2M), and smart city, and industrial applications.

VQEG

The Video Quality Experts Group was first grounded in basic subjective methodology and objective tool development/verification for video quality assessment such that the industry could be moved forward with standardization and implementation. At the beginning it was focused around measuring the perceived video quality since the distribution path for video and audio were limited and known.
