Last November, InfoVista's product marketing manager for business services solutions, Chris Cullan, participated in a panel about the challenges and opportunities associated with delivering Carrier Ethernet 2.0 service performance assurance. In particular, Chris emphasized the importance of adding value to customer offerings in order to improve satisfaction and maximize revenues. Listen in on the panel below to hear Chris discuss this critical topic for mobile operators.

Next month at MPLS & Ethernet World Congress in Paris, I am pleased to have the opportunity to deliver a presentation that focuses on backbone network capacity planning and why it is essential to enable service performance assurance for the delivery of Carrier Ethernet services. In particular, the presentation will address the following questions:

  • Why is up-to-date data necessary to establish precise performance and capacity baselines?
  • How can flow-based intelligence improve the backbone capacity planning process?
  • How are peering and transit traffic impacting quality of service (QoS) and quality of experience (QoE) on the network backbone?
  • How can multi-dimensional analysis expedite the decision-making process while minimizing financial and legal risks?

I invite you to join me in a discussion of these questions and more on Friday, March 22nd at 12:00 p.m. local time. If you're unable to attend the session but would like to schedule a time to meet with me at the event, please leave a comment below or email Dina Rodrigues.
