I'm truly happy to announce that InfoVista has been honored with a 2013 Global Telecoms Business Innovation Award for our work with mobile operator Tunisiana.
This award, given in the category of “Wireless Network Infrastructure Innovation,” is particularly meaningful for us because, first and foremost, it celebrates our close and fruitful collaboration with Tunisiana. We were able to help ensure the successful rollout of its IP backhaul network and maintain mobile transport infrastructure integrity, guaranteeing the best 3G service launch and revolutionizing the customer experience throughout Tunisia.
This was accomplished by establishing a centralized, end-to-end performance management practice – leveraging VistaInsight for Networks – that allowed Tunisiana to monitor the availability, traffic load and saturation of its new IP backhaul network, properly provision resources during the planning, deployment and operational phases of its next-generation mobile transport networks, optimize CAPEX and OPEX, and more effectively and efficiently troubleshoot potential network problems.
At Infovista, we strive to be innovative leaders within the telecoms community. This award, along with last month's 2013 Pipeline Award for “Innovations in Networking,” speaks to our strategy of focusing on supporting mobile operators at every stage of their networks' lifecycles – a strategy that has enjoyed strong market acceptance from mobile operators since the announcement of the Mentum acquisition.
Several highly respected organizations joined Infovista in being honored at this year's Global Telecoms Business Innovation Awards, including mobile operators such as Telstra, Telefonica and Optus, and vendors such as Alcatel-Lucent, Nokia Siemens Networks and Ericsson. It's nice to be in such great company, and it certainly motivates us to continue to push the envelope and never stop innovating.
