You may be wondering, “What is iBwave doing on Infovista’s blog?” For starters, Infovista and iBwave are teaming up to deliver a unified solution for indoor and outdoor-friendly network design!

Who are we?
iBwave is a Canadian company founded in 2003 with headquarters in Montreal. In April 2015, we were acquired by Corning Incorporated.
For over seventeen years, we’ve been the leaders in in-building network design, leading the way to helping the world adopt global standards for 3G, LTE, Wi-Fi, and other wireless technologies in venues such as subways, stadiums, high-rises, and more. In 2016, we helped make the Rio Olympics the most connected olympics ever.
Midway through 2019, we announced support for in-building 5G wireless design in the latest release of our flagship product, iBwave Design. To say we’re excited at helping usher in the next generation of wireless would be an understatement!
Today, there are over 1100 companies using iBwave software around the world, including more than 300 equipment manufacturers. Our built-in components database has over 34, 000 parts, with many added directly by OEMs and engineers from tier 1 operators.
What do we do?
iBwave offers a variety of solutions depending on the network connection objectives of our clients. Operators, system integrators, and small-to-mid business looking to future proof their in-building network can take advantage of iBwave Design. As our flagship product, Design offers support for many technologies, including LTE, Wi-Fi, Public Safety, and of course, 5G.
iBwave Wi-Fi is a tailored solution intended for customers looking to design indoor Wi-Fi networks without the bells and whistles of our premium application.
FiberPass is our wireline offering, for operators looking to bring fiber connectivity to multi-dwelling units and other large venues.
iBwave Unity is our network management solution that allows businesses to track, share, and archive multiple projects between stakeholders. It also automates several time-consuming workflows to simplify the design and maintenance of a network.
