It’s very interesting to see the recent report of mobile network performance from The Netherlands recently produced by umlaut communications (previously known as P3 Communications).
According to umlaut communications, all operators in The Netherlands are Outstanding, which is commendable.
Moreover, the results show that one mobile operator achieved the BEST RESULTS EVER MEASURED. That is remarkable.
There is no doubt that the public benchmarks encourage radio network performance improvements wherever they are published.
The Year-on-Year improvements found in The Netherlands this year, are not a ‘one-off’,
Similar improvements are evident almost everywhere where network performance data like this is published.
umlaut data are extremely rich, allowing mobile network operators to understand how they compare locally and where they need to improve, but also target important customer experience metrics.
umlaut communications prides itself on being meticulous in how the tests are performed, which services are compared and where the measurements must be done (the so-called umlaut methodology).
This means that every project is done in exactly the same way, meaning that it is possible to compare the performance achieved between countries.
Now for the first time, it is possible for operators and vendors to do their own tests using the umlaut scoring methodology, as part of Infovista’s certified TEMS solutions for in-depth radio network testing, and see how they compare with their peers.
We are proud to be a close partner with umlaut, and thrilled that we have been allowed to let our TEMS users take advantage of umlaut expertise and methodology.
