Over the past week, I had the privilege of witnessing the best of what Infovista stands for: curiosity, collaboration, and the courage to experiment. Our annual Hack Days wasn't just an event; it was a powerful reminder of how much innovation lives within our teams when we create space to explore bold ideas.
This spirit of relentless innovation is central to how we deliver True Network Intelligence to our customers: transforming network complexity into clarity, and turning data into decisive action.
A tradition reinvented
Hackathons are not new to Infovista. For years, they have been a tradition within our R&D community: an initiative led by engineers passionate about pushing boundaries, testing concepts, and transforming ideas into prototypes. Their creativity, discipline, and technical depth have shaped capabilities that continue to differentiate our solutions today.
What changed this year was the scale and inclusivity.
For the first time, Hack Days became a companywide initiative. We opened participation to colleagues across Product, IT, Support, Solution Engineering, Customer Experience, and teams around the world. That shift fundamentally changed the dynamic with hybrid teams formed naturally, blending perspectives that rarely intersect in day-to-day work.
The result: more diverse ideas, broader problem-solving approaches, and solutions designed with the full customer journey in mind.
A global spark of creativity
Participation this year reflected the appetite for innovation across the organization:
- 96 registrations with strong R&D involvement
- 65 ideas submitted
- 38 projects presented live across regions
- High attendance throughout onsite and remote sessions
Beyond the numbers, what stood out was the mindset—open, bold, and future-focused. Many teams explored AI-driven automation, intelligent agents, and new ways to accelerate network analysis and simplify workflows. These explorations align directly with our vision for agentic AI capabilities that will shape the next generation of network intelligence.
Why this matters for our customers
Innovation at Infovista isn't an abstract exercise. It's how we ensure our customers stay ahead of network complexity.
Several concepts from past Hack Days have evolved into product capabilities and automation features that our customers use today. This year's submissions continued that trajectory, with projects focused on predictive analytics, intelligent troubleshooting, and streamlined data workflows—all areas where network operators and enterprises need greater speed and clarity.
When our teams challenge assumptions and reimagine what's possible, our customers benefit. That's the direct line between internal innovation and external impact.
Recognition and what comes next
Now that Hack Days has concluded, a cross-functional jury of leaders from Product, R&D, and Operations will review submissions to identify the most innovative and high-potential projects. The strongest ideas will be recognized across multiple categories. And the best will advance toward our product roadmap.
This process ensures that Hack Days remains not only a creative sprint but a catalyst for tangible evolution in the solutions we bring to market.
Building the future together
Hack Days reaffirmed something fundamental: when we give people the freedom to explore, the support to experiment, and the trust to challenge how things are done, innovation accelerates.
This mindset isn't new at Infovista: it's in our DNA. For three decades, we've stayed ahead of network evolution by combining deep technical expertise with a culture of continuous innovation. From the earliest days of network performance management to today's AI-driven intelligence, our ability to anticipate what's next has kept us—and our customers—at the forefront of the industry.
As we approach Mobile World Congress 2026, this energy and inventiveness will be on full display. The ideas sparked during Hack Days—and the culture that produced them—are part of what has made Infovista a trusted partner to over 1,000 customers worldwide, including more than 400 mobile network operators.
Thirty years of expertise. A relentless drive to innovate. And a commitment to turning network complexity into clarity for every customer we serve. That's the foundation of True Network Intelligence. And events like Hack Days are how we ensure we'll keep delivering it for decades to come.
