Innovation spotlight

How Nokia and Infovista are redefining Field Performance Validation

Telecom networks are evolving faster than ever — and so are the ways we validate them.

That’s why Nokia and Infovista have joined forces to transform traditional drive testing into something smarter, faster, and more sustainable: Automated Field Performance Validation (AFPV).

By combining Nokia’s AI and automation expertise with Infovista’s TEMS cloud-based testing and analytics platform, this partnership is changing how operators validate and optimize their networks at scale.

The results speak for themselves:

  • 98% faster reporting, from hours to just 15 minutes
  • 20% higher productivity through automated root-cause analysis
  • 28% fewer repeat tests, cutting costs, emissions, and on-road risk

With more than half a million field validations each year — over half powered by TEMS — this collaboration shows what’s possible when innovation meets real-world scale.

And it’s only the beginning. With AI-driven insights paving the way for autonomous field validation, Nokia and Infovista are setting a new benchmark for the future of network performance validation.

Generating Instant Reports from your device in TEMS Pocket

TEMS Pocket’s Instant Report feature streamlines your network testing process by allowing you to generate PDF reports directly from recorded logfiles on your TEMS Pocket device, without any additional post-processing required.

Testing 5G Non-Terrestrial Networks: methods, requirements & best practices

As 5G expands beyond terrestrial infrastructure, Non-Terrestrial Networks (NTNs) are emerging as a critical component of global connectivity. But NTN testing is unlike any field testing before: moving transmission sources, time-dependent coverage, Doppler shifts, and atmospheric conditions create a new environment for validation. This eBook draws on Infovista’s decades of network testing expertise to explore the methodologies, processes requirements, and best practices that operators can adapt today to prepare for NTN readiness.
